Amy Martin has created books, magazines, posters, products and illustrations for The New York Times, McSweeney’s, GOOD magazine, Tin House, The Walt Disney Company, Foreign Policy, Death Cab for Cutie, Band of Horses, The Los Angeles Times, The Detroit Free Press, The Advocate, 826LA and Knock Knock, as well as client work for agencies including Creature, North and Cinco. Her work has been shown at the Manifest Hope galleries in Denver and Washington DC, the Re:Form School gallery in NYC, The 2010 California Design Biennial, The Electric Works gallery in San Francisco and in American Illustration 29. Her first illustrated children’s book, Symphony City, was released by McSweeney’s in July 2011. She is currently working on multiple new book projects. She lives in Portland.
