Cathryn J. Prince is a a former correspondent for the Christian Science Monitor and the author of several books, including Death in the Baltic: The WWII Sinking of the Wilhelm Gustloff (Palgrave Macmillan), which was awarded the Military Writers Society of American Founders Award. She is a graduate of George Washington University (B.A., international affairs), Fairfield University (M.A., American Studies), and Columbia University (M.S., journalism). She lives in Connecticut.
