David Rakel is the founder and director of the University of Wisconsin Integrative Medicine program and a professor in the family medicine department at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. A dynamic public speaker and lecturer, he has been awarded several teaching awards for both clinical and classroom presentations. Since 2011, he’s been recognized annually as one of U.S. News and World Report’s Best Doctors in America. He speaks nationally on health and wellness to thousands every year, and has been interviewed on NPR and for Dr. Oz The Good Life, Runner’s World, Self, Prevention, Body and Soul, and the Wall Street Journal. He lives in Wisconsin.
