Monica Holloway

Monica has served as a spokesperson for the largest autism nonprofit in the nation, Autism Speaks, and Monica and her husband, writer Michael Price, serve on the advisory board of the National Center for Family Literacy. She works to raise awareness and participation for these two issues of autism and family literacy, about which she deeply cares as a mother and an author. In 2011, Holloway received the Women of Distinction Award from the Special Needs Network in recognition for her work and contributions to the underserved special needs communities in Los Angeles.

Monica lives in Los Angeles with her family and two golden retrievers, a hamster, four hermit crabs, three frogs, two rabbits and six neon tetras.
