His stories have been published all over — magazines, anthologies, textbooks (coming up in The Year’s Best Fantasy and Horror) — and his novels have covered the spectrum as well: from the innovative FC2 novels THE BIRD IS GONE and THE FAST RED ROAD to the Rugged Land thriller ALL THE BEAUTIFUL SINNERS, from the MacAdam/Cage horrorfest DEMON THEORY to the story collection BLEED INTO ME. He’s a professor of English at The University of Colorado at Boulder.
