Agavny Vardanyan is an Armenian American illustrator and printmaker. Trained in animation design, Agavny has worked as a prop designer for the HBO Max Series 'Fired on Mars,' and has a BA in Arts from CSUN. She has worked on several children's books for Gartam Books and author Tenny Minassian, as well as print designs for New York Times Bestselling author Allison Saft. Agavny spends her time developing her webcomic and graphic novel, 'The Pomegranate Princess,' and designing prints and artwork for her Etsy and vendor events under agavnythepigeon. She loves imbuing her art with her culture and showcasing Armenian mythology and culture in her work, and is especially drawn to whimsical and nature-based stories.
