Dana Bryan graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism and a minor in business administration. While attending UF, she was an editorial intern for Tower Publications, a writer for Spoon University magazine, and a teaching assistant for a web development course. She is a 2021 graduate of the New York University publishing course.
Dana has eclectic taste and will read anything that tells a good story. She enjoys young adult and children's books (from picture books to middle grade fiction to new adult), especially those with underrepresented voices. She also enjoys narrative nonfiction that tugs on heartstrings and gets people to think differently. She is drawn to books that display intellectual thought and have a lot of heart. Dana favors stories with meaningful imagery that can transport readers into a book's world and into the minds of its characters.
She became an assistant at DeFiore & Company in July 2021 and assists Laurie Abkemeier, Lisa Gallagher, Caryn Karmatz Rudy, and Brian DeFiore. She is not accepting queries.
