Amy Westervelt, a graduate of UC Berkeley, is an award-winning journalist with nearly two decades of experience writing about health, psychology, technology, business, and the environment, most recently for Popular ScienceElleSmithsonian, and Aeon. She writes a column on women’s health for The Guardian and she has been a regular contributor to the Wall Street Journal since 2014 and to The California Report, which airs weekdays on every major-market NPR station in California. She also hosts two podcasts: “Range,” which focuses on the West Coast, and “Tell Me About Your Mother.” She lives with her husband and children in California.
