Jennifer Murphy received her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Washington. She is the recipient of the 2015 Nancy Pearl Award for best fiction/mainstream novel, the 2013 Loren D. Milliman Scholarship, and was a general contributor at the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference from 2008 through 2012, Tin House in 2008 and 2010, and Wildacres in 2007 and 2009. She holds a BFA, MA, and MFA in visual arts. She has lived and studied in North Carolina, Colorado, Michigan, and Washington, and she currently resides in Houston, TX. She is the author of I Love You More and the forthcoming novel Scarlet in Blue.
