Nicole Rucker the founder/owner of Rucker’s Pies and a co-owner of CoFax Coffee in Los Angeles, CA. Her pies and pastries can also be found at Bludso’s Barbecue, Shake Shake, and Dinosaur Coffee. She is a four-time blue ribbon winner of KCRW’s “Good Food” pie contest, and prior to opening Rucker’s Pie and joining Cofax Coffee, Nicole was the Pastry Chef at Gjelina Takeaway and Gjusta Bakery in Venice, CA. Her writing and recipes have appeared in Bon Appetit, Lucky Peach, the Los Angeles Times, and inside the cookbook Gjelina: Cooking from Venice, Ca.
