Saul Austerlitz is a freelance writer whose work has been published in the New York Times, New York Times Magazine, Spin, Rolling Stone, Paste, Boston Globe, Los Angeles Times, Slate, and The New Republic, among others. He is a graduate of Yale University, where he majored in film studies (2001), and he received a master’s degree in cinema studies from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
