Amy Poehler Comedy Nabs NBC Pilot Pickup based on Orli Auslander’s I FEEL BAD

NBC has picked up its sixth comedy pilot of the season, a single-camera comedy inspired by Orli Auslander’s I FEEL BAD. The comedy will show one woman’s hilarious unfiltered take on the side effects of trying to have it all.

Aseem Batra, behind Scrubs and The Cleveland Show, will pen the script and executive produce the comedy alongside Amy Poehler and her Universal Television-based Paper Kite banner. 3 Arts’ Dave Becky will executive produce alongside Josh Maurer and Julie Anne Robinson, who will direct. Kenny Pancho and Kim Lessing will Produce. Orli Auslander will serve as a consulting producer.

THE PISCES and SELF PORTRAIT WITH BOY longlisted for First Novel Prize

Melissa Broder’s THE PISCES and Rachel Lyon’s SELF PORTRAIT WITH BOY have been longlisted for the 2018 Center for Fiction First Novel Prize. The prize will be awarded on December 11th.

THE HUMMINGBIRDS featured in LitHub
