Alec Carvlin is a children’s book writer who grew up in New Jersey and attended Dartmouth College, where he studied Classics. Despite (or perhaps because of) this deep dive into history and all things "real," Alec enjoys writing stories that are off the beaten path - the funnier the better. He lives in Boston with his dog, Puff. Alec’s debut picture book, HOW TO BAKE A UNIVERSE, blends science with humor and will be published by Norton Young Readers in 2022.
