Katy Yocom is author of an award-winning debut novel,Three Ways to Disappear, and co-editor with Kathleen Driskell of an anthology, Creativity & Compassion: Spalding Writers Celebrate Twenty Years. Her novel Three Ways to Disappear was named a Barnes & Noble Top Indie Favorite; its other awards include the Siskiyou Prize for New Environmental Literature and the Phillip H. McMath Post-Publication Book Award. Her writing has appeared in NewsweekSalon, LitHub, American Way (the American Airlines magazine), and elsewhere. She holds degrees in creative writing (MFA, Spalding University) and journalism (University of Kansas), and she serves as associate director of the Naslund-Mann Graduate School of Writing at Spalding.
