Penny Jackson is an award-winning playwright and novelist. Her novel, Becoming the Butlers, was chosen as one of the best books of the year by the New York Public Library. Warner Brother Studios optioned the novel for film production. She has received numerous awards and recognition, including a prestigious MacDowell Colony Fellowship, a Mirrielees Fellowship in Creative Writing from Stanford University, and a Pushcart Prize for her short story, “L.A. Child.”
