Stephen Robert Miller is an author and journalist whose reporting and essays on climate change, conservation, and agriculture have appeared inNational Geographic,Washington Post, The New Republic, The Guardian, Discover, Sierra, Audubon, High Country News, Undark, and many others. Miller studied journalism at the University of Arizona and was a 2018-2019 Ted Scripps Fellow in Environmental Journalism at the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he also teaches science writing. He served previously as senior editor of environmental justice for YES! Magazine. His work has earned accolades from the Society of Professional Journalists, NASA Space Grant Consortium, Washington Newspaper Publishers Association, Mark Finley Gold Pen News Writing Competition, and Native American Journalism Association.
